Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Oh my word! Best Chicago style deep dish I've ever had. The pizza was their version of a small and that suckered weighed every bit of 5 pounds. 2.5 inches thick. Absolutely a masterpiece. If you are in the area, you MUST stop by!

The pizza was very very good. We ordered the pizza with everything on it and were not disappointed with the amount of toppings or the taste. I picked the pizza up and it was ready right on time. Our only negative was that it was just a little over cooked and the edges of the crust were burnt. We will definitely order from Maciano's Pizza again.

I've ordered from here twice before. First time I got a sausage and cheese pizza. The second time I got a chicken fettuccine alfredo pasta. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to give this location a negative score. Atmosphere is non-existent as their is no sit-down restaurant style tables at this location. And service was quite poor, as when I ordered my food the place was desolate and it was still a 30 min. wait for some reason. I personally don't like extremely thin crust pizza, but when I ordered their thickest crust option that's what I received (paper-thin). Reminded me of tombstone's store-bought oven pizza. As for the pasta, the sauce was very watery and did not stick to the noodles well. It was also quite over-priced for a bowl of pasta (>$20). In both orders the portion sizes are decently large; it's just that the quality of the food plus the slow service does not match their asking price.

If youβve been to one Macianoβs for pizza, youβve already been to the others! My family would order pizzas and wings from the Elgin branch. The salad may have been forgotten a time or two, someone orders BBQ instead of the hot wings (personal preference), but the pizzas never disappointed and always remain consistent. The sauce tastes so good, there are plenty of toppings, and they donβt skimp on anything with βextraβ tagged with it. I moved out and fortunately have this location nearby. Itβs small and doesnβt have a dining room, so itβs takeout pickup or delivery only. Unfortunately, my first time ordering here, I failed to realize I was ordering to the Aurora location, not the North Aurora oneβ¦ Aurora location simply canceled the (already made) order without issue and the North Aurora/ this location whipped up my order fast. To lessen anyone elseβs disappointment before walking inside and seeing the larger cookies: theyβre not soft. :( 5/5 recommend for your pizza cravings any day.

I had been a long time customer and ordered weekly for my family. About 8 months ago I noticed a difference in the quality of pizza. I have since started ordering from another pizzeria. Yesterday I decided to give them a try again to see if anything had changed. I order pizza weekly, my household is a big pizza family so I've had many from many places. I ordered a 16 inch cheese only and a 10 inch sausage and 12 wings. I must say that the pizza that I received yesterday was the worst Pizza I have ever had. It was oily, burnt on the bottom and sides, the cheese was gross and not melted, and it was not hot.The chicken wings we're gray meat which indicates that the chicken was old. Doordash is now used and my doordasher notified me that they are picking up multiple orders. I cannot express the disappointment and the disrespect of quality that this particular location has come to. It is very sad. I will never order from here again. But I do wish you well and hope that you get it together because no one should feed their family with what you are offering.
